Display Options and Publishing

Besides the general display settings we discussed here, each display option of WordPress Form Maker plugin has its unique settings. Let’s discuss them in this subsection of Form Maker user guide.

Embedded

Embedded display type of Form Maker plugin generates a shortcode of your form. An example of this shortcode is the following:

[Form id=”8”]

It can be added to the content of any WordPress page or post. After you select Embedded from Display Options, you will be able to view and copy this shortcode.

Embedded Display Type

Navigate to Pages > Add New from WordPress dashboard menu and add the shortcode into the post content. You can also publish embedded forms by pressing Add Form button. Choose your form using Select a Form dropdown, then click Insert.

Insert a form

Write a Title for your page/post, provide content if necessary, then click Publish. Press View Page to see the published form on the front-end of your site.

This display type lets you have your form appearing as a popup box. It shows after the specified pages are fully loaded.
